What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sonographer/Ultrasound Tech position at Perinatal Associates of New Mexico?
Since 1987, Perinatal Associates of New Mexico (PANM) provides the best high-risk pregnancy care in the Southwest in a comfortable, soothing environment. Our expert staff is devoted to treating each patient and her family with dignity, respect, and compassion. We have grown to fourteen (14) locations throughout the state to better serve our population. We are looking to add a sonographer/ultrasound technician to our Farmington office. This position is 32 hours per week (Monday-Thursday) every week. We will provide extensive specialized training.
Sonographers provide evaluation through high-risk ultrasound exams according to protocols and AIUM regulations. Interprets and documents the procedure. Gives report of findings and pathology for US performed to the provider seeing the patient and referring OB provider as needed. Advise on scheduling the patient for follow-ups necessary. Sonographers follow and maintain accurate billing and coding policies. Provides services in caring, empathetic, professional, ethical and legal manner with a team approach.

Pay: From $35.00 per hour

- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer with FE cert. (Preferred)
- NM Imaging License (Required)
