POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Senior Manager, Supply Chain to lead sourcing, procurement, inventory control, warehousing/logistics and material planning efforts across a multi-site manufacturing network. This role plays a critical part in aligning supply chain operations with business strategies, to ensure proper inventory control, procurement, and warehousing of raw materials and finished goods. This role supports ensuring inbound supply supports service, quality, and cost objectives while adhering to stringent government regulations, especially in partnership with R&D and quality functions.
In addition, this position will lead the Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) process, ensuring demand signals translate into aligned procurement and manufacturing plans that drive efficient and timely product delivery across the supply chain. The ideal candidate brings strong cross-functional leadership to drive integrated business planning across Commercial, Operations, Finance, and R&D teams.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
· Lead strategic sourcing and procurement across direct and indirect materials, aligning with long-term business and compliance objectives.
· Drive cross-functional Integrated Business Planning (IBP), including ownership of the SIOP process to align demand planning with supply execution across a multi-site manufacturing network.
· Design and implement inventory management processes within the ERP ecosystem to support end-to-end supply chain visibility and automation.
· Drive cost reductions and negotiation strategies using external commodity indices and market data.
· Develop and maintain multi-sourcing relationships to mitigate risk and ensure continuity of supply.
· Partner with Manufacturing and Logistics teams to align inventory positioning and reduce transfer shipments while ensuring 100% customer service levels.
· Define and implement supply chain policies, procedures, and best practices in alignment with executive leadership.
· Lead special projects focused on lead time improvements, sourcing optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
· Manage and mentor a small team directly and provide indirect leadership and coaching to site-based procurement, inventory control, and receiving personnel.
· Collaborate with R&D to optimize approved formulations and supplier strategies in highly regulated environments, beginning at the front end of the product development process.
Requirements:· Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field.
· Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in supply chain or procurement roles, ideally in a manufacturing or chemical environment.
· Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams and delivering measurable results.
· Strong knowledge of ERP systems, Excel and experience implementing process improvements and automation.
· Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
· Advanced expertise in supply chain management, supplier negotiations, and material cost control.
· Background in chemical engineering or experience in government regulated industries.
· Six Sigma or other continuous improvement certifications.
· Proven ability to lead change, develop new processes, and build strong internal and external relationships.
· Experience in system implementation and Management of Change (MOC).
Salary : $150,000 - $200,000
