Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist the Foreman with installing commercial and residential fencing projects.
- Install chain link, ornamental iron, wood, vinyl, and other fencing systems.
- Assist with gate installation and related hardware.
- Load, unload, organize, and transport materials, tools, and equipment.
- Dig post holes, set posts, pour concrete, and prepare job sites.
- Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment.
- Read and follow project plans, layouts, and installation instructions.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Ensure all work meets company quality standards and customer expectations.
- Follow OSHA safety regulations and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with the Foreman, coworkers, and customers.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous fencing, construction, landscaping, or outdoor labor experience preferred but not required.
- Experience installing chain link, ornamental iron, or gates is a plus.
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Mechanically inclined with the ability to learn quickly.
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
- Team-oriented with good communication skills.
- Valid driver's license preferred.
- Frequently lift and carry up to 75 pounds.
- Stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the day.
- Work outdoors in Arizona heat and varying weather conditions.
- Safely use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and construction equipment.
- Outdoor construction sites.
- Exposure to heat, dust, noise, uneven terrain, and construction equipment.
- Occasional overtime may be required to meet project deadlines.
