Perimeter Security Partners (“PSP”) designs, engineers, constructs, and maintains physical and electronic security systems for high-risk assets to serve governmental, commercial, and industrial customers worldwide. The next stage of PSP’s growth requires the addition of a detail-oriented, hands-on project engineer to strengthen the company’s engineering team’s ability to support its internal and external customers. The project engineer will develop work plans for design-build construction projects, participate in the design and development of new products, collaborate with project management to solve field constructability challenges, and develop submittals for construction projects.

The next stage of PSP’s growth requires the addition of a detail-oriented, hands-on project engineer to strengthen the company’s engineering team’s ability to support its internal and external customers. The project engineer will develop work plans for design-build construction projects, participate in the design and development of new products, collaborate with project management to solve field constructability challenges, and develop submittals for construction projects.
Duties
- Develop design-build construction drawing packages to include the following:
- Demolition and existing conditions.
- Civil site plans.
- Civil details.
- Keep management informed by updating, reviewing, and analyzing special reports, summarizing information, and identifying trends.
- Manage agendas, travel plans, and appointments for upper management.
- Manage emails, letters, packages, phone calls, and other forms of correspondence.
- Maintain databases and records containing project, financial, personnel, and other data.
- Monitor inventory of office supplies and purchase replacements as necessary.
- Track and coordinate services related to office equipment, telecommunication needs, and facility maintenance requirements.
- Welcome visitors and direct them to relevant offices / personnel.
- Track the condition, assigned driver(s), and location of fleet vehicles.
- Prepare and distribute recurring reports on fleet vehicle mileage, condition, and recent maintenance actions.
- Perform other related administrative duties as needed to support company operations.
- Minimum two years’ experience in an office setting required.
- Proven excellence as an office assistant, office administrator, or similar experience.
- High School diploma or GED required. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree desired.
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite required.
- Strong written and verbal communications skills.
- Skilled in writing and editing content with keen attention to detail.
- Experience with Procore project management software or similar desired.
- Experience with social media, web development, or other media in a business environment desired.
- Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Ability to sit at a computer workstation for several hours at a time.
- Duties are performed primarily in PSP’s Brentwood, TN office.
- Full Time / Salary ($40,000-50,000, depending on experience) [Will this be salary or hourly]
