Perimeter Security Partners (“PSP”) is seeking a motivated Access Control/ CCTV wiring technician with strong Low Voltage and Network Installation and programming experience to maintain and repair access control points (ACPs), Electronic Security Systems and associated equipment though the United States. Well qualified candidates will have the ability to install ACPs from design to implementation. Strong proficiency to diagnose, conduct preventative and corrective maintenance on various Intrusion Detection Systems, Electronic Security Systems and Closed-Circuit Television systems at industrial, commercial, government and military sites.
PSP has a robust service and maintenance team with seasoned lead technicians available to assist in troubleshooting and support with the goal of minimizing client system downtime by providing quality technical support and customer service in a timely manner. The ESS Technicians will report to the Service Manager.

Duties
- The field technician must be able to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks with little supervision and be a positive representative for PSP with our clients.
- Assess, maintain, troubleshoot and repair ACP equipment and CCTV systems
- Constant informed communication, including e-mail and telephonic contact with vendors, subcontractors, technicians, and customers.
- Excellent written skills are required to provide daily reports on equipment conditions, services performed and additional work that may be required in a timely manner.
- Conduct preventative and corrective maintenance on equipment using checklists, manufacturer’s guidance, and oral or written technical expertise.
- Ability to develop material and equipment lists and labor estimates to correct deficiencies.
- Coordinate closely with Client security and other personnel to safely conduct maintenance and service actions while minimizing operational impacts.
- Draft and organize electronic documentation following each repair or preventative maintenance visit, include compiling receipts, reviewing completed checklists, obtaining Client approval signatures, composing technician reports and other close-out documents.
- Ability to plan and execute logistics and travel plans to and from job locations.
- Minimum of 3 years of training or experience in the installation or network wiring and ESS equipment.
- Maintaining a highly professional and positive attitude with diverse co-workers and clients.
- Proficiency in system programming, configuration and troubleshooting.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks for yourself and others.
- High Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, Fast Field Forms and other ERP programs.
- Ability to read single line drawings and schematics.
- Ability to cut in a door strike and magnetic lock.
- Hands on Experience installing and troubleshooting DVR/CCTV systems.
- IT/Networking experience is Required.
- Must possess a valid REAL ID Driver’s License.
- Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Must be able to pass a federal background check and drug screening.
- Ability to arrive on time, every time to all jobsites.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds to waist level.
- Ability to work outdoors in adverse weather for extended hours.
- Ability to travel by air or for up to 8 hours by car.
- Weekly travel to work sites throughout the United States, generally departing on Monday and returning on Friday.
- Opportunities for overtime are frequently available.

- A fixed per diem to cover meals and other incidental expenses will also be provided.
- Hands on and other training opportunities available to augment skills and increase proficiency with a wide variety of security equipment.
- Highly Desired Skills for this position include: Electrical certifications/ Licensing, Heavy Equipment Operation (forklift, lull, man lift), and/or Welding.
- Full Time / Hourly ($26 - $33/hr, depending on experience)
- Work Performed on Federal Job Sites are subject to the Davis Bacon Act requirements and my pay higher wage based on location.
