Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Utilization Review Coordinator located in Jackson, TN. The Utilization Review Coordinator will be responsible for reviewing patient care to ensure proper utilization of services, planning patient discharge, and coordinating with healthcare and medical staff. Daily tasks include evaluating medical records, communicating with insurance providers, and ensuring that patient care plans are aligned with best practices and medical standards.
Qualifications
- Experience in Utilization Management and Discharge Planning
- Background in Medicine or Nursing
- Proficiency in handling Medical Records
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a healthcare team
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required; RN license preferred
- Experience in behavioral health is a plus.
