As a Clinical Pharmacist, you play a vital role in advancing this mission by ensuring accurate, efficient prescription fulfillment and supporting high-quality clinical care. In addition, you will serve as the Quality and Accreditation Compliance Lead, overseeing adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies to ensure the highest standards of pharmacy practice and patient safety.
Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Pharmacy Operations & Clinical Care, you will collaborate with patients, providers, and internal teams to deliver innovative pharmacy solutions that improve outcomes nationwide. You will also provide operational oversight in the absence of the Pharmacist in Charge or Vice President of Pharmacy Operations, ensuring continuity and excellence in service. You’ll join a passionate Care Team driven by empathy, professionalism, and a shared commitment to bettering the lives of patients across all 50 states and D.C.
Clinical Care & Patient Support
- Deliver comprehensive clinical consultations, including medication therapy management, disease-state education, and individualized care planning
- Develop, implement, and continuously optimize patient-specific care plans to improve adherence, outcomes, and patient experience
- Provide high-quality clinical counseling to patients on pharmacotherapy, side effects, and lifestyle considerations
- Conduct proactive patient and provider outreach to obtain clinical information, close care gaps, and support therapy optimization
- Respond to clinical inquiries from patients, providers, and internal teams in a timely and evidence-based manner
Clinical Program Development & Optimization
- Design, build, and maintain clinical management protocols, care pathways, and decision-support tools
- Develop and update patient education materials to enhance engagement and health literacy within the platform
- Partner with the technology team to translate clinical requirements into scalable digital workflows and tools
- Monitor clinical escalations within the medication management platform and ensure appropriate resolution and follow-up
- Identify opportunities to improve clinical programs, patient outcomes, and service delivery
Operations & Workflow Management
- Ensure accurate and efficient processing of prescriptions, with thorough documentation in CRM systems
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations and fulfillment teams to align clinical care with service delivery needs
- Organize and standardize clinical workflows, procedures, and documentation practices to ensure consistency and scalability
Quality, Compliance & Accreditation
- Ensure adherence to all applicable pharmacy laws, regulations, and standards of practice
- Maintain readiness for accreditation (e.g., URAC, ACHC), including leading audit preparation and corrective action planning, related to clinical services provided to patients
- Conduct routine internal audits and risk assessments; implement mitigation strategies to address identified gaps between accreditation and program standards
- Investigate, document, and resolve compliance-related incidents in accordance with regulatory requirements
- Serve as a liaison to regulatory and accreditation bodies as needed
- Maintain accurate records of audits, training, and compliance activities
Leadership, Training & Collaboration
- Lead training and education initiatives for pharmacy staff on clinical programs, protocols, and best practices
- Develop and maintain SOPs and training materials to support clinical fulfillment programs
- Collaborate with pharmacy leadership to support KPI tracking, reporting, and performance improvement initiatives
- Act as a clinical subject matter expert across teams, fostering a culture of high-quality, patient-centered care

Qualifications:
- PharmD or BS Degree in Pharmacy
- Active pharmacy license in good standing in Pennsylvania
- Availability for weekday shifts, including occasional Saturdays and extended hours, as agreed upon
- Strong working knowledge of applicable federal and state pharmacy regulations
- Familiarity with accreditation standards (e.g., URAC, ACHC) is strongly preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and pharmacy management software systems
- Previous experience in clinical pharmacy, fulfillment operations, or regulatory compliance preferred
