Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Survey Crew Chief based in West Jordan, UT. The Survey Crew Chief will oversee and perform fieldwork for various types of surveys, including topographic, land, ALTA, boundary, and construction surveys. Responsibilities include managing survey equipment such as total stations, ensuring accurate data collection, coordinating with team members, and maintaining the quality of all survey data. The role also involves both leadership and collaboration with the surveying team to meet project timelines and client expectations.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in conducting Topographic Surveys and Boundary Surveys
- Experience with Land Surveying techniques
- Knowledge and ability to perform ALTA Surveys
- Skilled in the use of Total Station equipment for survey data collection
- Strong leadership and communication skills to lead survey teams effectively
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data collection and processing
- Previous experience in survey project management is a plus
- Familiarity with survey software and CAD tools is advantageous
