Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Key Holder to join our team. In this role, you will support the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and fostering a positive work environment. You will play a key role in managing staff, maintaining inventory, and driving sales performance while upholding the company's standards and values.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in supervising daily store operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Manage inventory levels, including ordering new stock and conducting regular audits.
  • Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately for transactions and returns.
  • Handle cash register operations, ensuring accuracy in cash handling and reporting.
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager on budgeting and financial planning for the store.
  • Conduct interviews for potential new hires and assist in the onboarding process.
  • Implement pricing strategies to maximize sales while maintaining profitability.
  • Foster a positive team environment that encourages employee orientation and development.

Skills

  • Strong employee orientation with a focus on team management and development.
  • Proficient in operating POS systems and cash registers with attention to detail.
  • Excellent phone etiquette for effective communication with customers and vendors.
  • Solid understanding of budgeting principles to assist in financial planning.
  • Ability to buy strategically to maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Experience in supervising staff with strong leadership qualities.
  • Knowledge of pricing strategies to enhance sales performance.
  • Capable of conducting interviews effectively to select qualified candidates.
