What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tow Truck Driver - Day Shift position at Performance Towing?
Performance Towing is looking to fill a position for reliable daytime wrecker driver. Performance Towing offers competitive pay with unlimited income potential and paid time off.
In this job, you will perform emergency road service, towing, and accident recovery. Performance Towing is searching for candidates who will present a professional image through excellent service, safe operation of equipment and timeliness. It will be expected to maintain truck and equipment in compliance with company guidelines. As well as, perform necessary documentation timely and correctly.
Duties:
- Arrive at work on time daily and maintain consistently excellent attendance;
- Provide towing and roadside assistance in a safe, professional and timely manner, free of accident, injury, and damages;
- Abide by all federal, state, and local laws, rules, and ordinances and maintain a clean driving record;
- Ensure quality customer service through professionalism, timely response, skill, and courtesy;
- Maintain personal appearance and uniforms in compliance with established company standards;
- Attend driver and employee meetings as requested;
- Attend training as directed by management;
- Perform other duties, including, cleaning shop and maintaining equipment as requested;
- Cleans and removes debris from damaged vehicles off the roadway for law enforcement as requested;
- Perform lockouts without damage to customer vehicles;
- Visually inspect truck and equipment such as fuel, DEF, lights, tires, daily;
- Perform emergency roadside tire changes;
- Use route navigation applications and knowledge of the area to meet or exceed ETA times;
- Clean the inside and the outside of the truck daily;
- Drive defensively, always wear your seatbelt;
- Drive safely in inclement weather, such as rain and snow.
Experience:
- One year of wrecker driver experience preferred but will train the right candidate.
Requirements:
- Applicants must have a valid Oklahoma Driver's License;
- Applicants must be 25 or older;
- Applicants must have a clean background including driving record;
- Applicants must be willing to work Sunday - Thursday
