What are the responsibilities and job description for the Physical Therapy Tech / Driver - Harlingen position at Performance Therapeutics?
We are looking for a dependable individual who has the ability to give excellent patient care while assisting to provide transportation for our patients that can not get to our clinic on their own.
Physical Therapy Technicians assist with patient prep before treatment, transferring, transporting, and positioning patients, and also assist during and after treatment as needed.
- We are looking for a motivated and charismatic individual!
- PT tech / driver will pick-up / drop-off patients using our company vehicle. (must have a VALID DRIVER'S LICENCE and a clean driving record).
- Will be part of the team to give quality patient care under the direction of our Physical Therapist.
- Work Schedule: Monday through Thursday 8am - 6pm, Friday 8am -12pm
- Off Saturday and Sunday
- Full-Time Position
Qualifications
- Strong patient service and care skills
- Knowledge of anatomy and physiology
- Experience in hospital settings, including acute and post-acute care
- Familiarity with medical terminology and hospital medicine
- Background in outpatient clinics, orthopedics, and geriatrics
- Ability to assist with patient intake and provide support in various care environments
