Performance Team handles end-to-end warehousing and distribution logistics needs utilizing our strategic network of storage facilities. Our facilities are capable of receiving, storing, processing and dispatching cargo, so we can build flexibility and resilience into the supply chain process. Our integrated solutions allow us to be prepared for supply chain risks, so we can plan distribution to better achieve lead time and goals despite unexpected conditions. Our extensive experience, connections, and deep expertise across different sectors, industries, and transportation modes, means we can be counted on for process excellence that will save time and money.

Summary

Manage and coordinates activities of workers in processing shipments, inventory, orders, and all needs of assigned account.

Schedule

1st Shift M-F 0700-1600

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • You will serve as a key point of contact with the customer.
  • Focus the sales effort around identifying and fulfilling customers' current and future needs.
  • You will help identify opportunities where Performance Team services fit the customer’s ongoing business strategy.
  • Talks with customers by phone or in person and receives orders for shipment, storing, delivery, or general processing.
  • Coordinates with warehouse personnel to oversee incoming and outgoing account activities to ensure accuracy, completeness and condition of shipments. Compiles records of orders, adjusts errors and complaints.
  • Projects changes in account activity and plans labor requirements accordingly. Submits written and/or verbal reports on activity and projected labor expenses.
  • Responds promptly to customer needs; Solicits customer feedback to improve service ; Responds to requests for service and assistance.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Directly manage warehouse and/or office employees assigned to account functions. Carries out managerial responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities may include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education And/or Experience

Bachelor’s degree preferred with 1-2 years experience in a “customer facing” environment such as sales, account management, or similar role.

Must have experience developing and enhancing strong client relationships; must proactively address customer issues and questions.

Ability to handle multiple tasks and customer requirements simultaneously; must be time and process management focused.

Strong Leadership Skills And Project Management Experience.

Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills; must be able to communicate effectively with customers.

Must be diplomatic, possessing excellent people and relationship building skills

Lead and/or participate effectively on a team and work with other teams

Computer skills are generally required to include inventory systems, and possibly customer software.

Pay Range

$75k to $80,168.00

  • The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
