Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Inspect and identify worn or damaged equipment
- Lift and move materials by hand
- Use power tools
- Conduct ongoing safety inspections
- Housekeeping of area worked in and surrounding areas as assigned
- Inspect material for proper preparation and quality
- Work hours assigned including overtime as required
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a production environment
- Good time management and proven multi-tasking skills
- Ability to be self-sufficient and self-motivated
- Demonstrates initiative, sense of urgency and is self-motivated when addressing work tasks
- Team oriented
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, wet conditions, extreme heat, fumes and airborne particles, toxic and caustic chemicals, and outside weather conditions.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is continuously required to move throughout the facility including on uneven terrain. Duties also require continuously moving items up to 50lbs.
