QA/QC Manager – Mechanical OR MEP (Data Center / Mission Critical)
We are actively hiring QA/QC professionals with experience in data center construction to support large-scale, mission-critical projects. We are seeking both:
- Mechanical QA/QC Specialists (HVAC, piping, cooling systems)
- Full MEP QA/QC Managers (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing)
This is a field-driven role focused on ensuring quality across high-value MEP scopes where precision and execution are critical.
MUST HAVES (Non-Negotiable – All Candidates)
- At least 1 year of QA/QC experience on data center construction projects
- 5 years of QA/QC experience on large commercial MEP projects
- Proven experience supporting MEP scopes $50M
- Strong understanding of construction quality processes, inspections, and documentation
- Experience working in mission-critical or fast-track environments
Track 1: Mechanical QA/QC (Preferred for Mechanical-Focused Roles)Focus
- HVAC systems (CRAH/CRAC units, chillers, cooling towers)
- Mechanical piping systems (including process and hydronic piping)
- Equipment installation and alignment
- Pressure testing, flushing, and system readiness
Responsibilities
- Oversee mechanical inspections and testing
- Ensure compliance with mechanical specs, weld procedures, and installation standards
- Track and manage mechanical deficiencies and punch lists
- Support startup and commissioning of mechanical systems
- Work closely with mechanical field teams to drive quality in real time
Ideal Candidate
- Strong background in mechanical subcontracting or mechanical QA/QC
- Deep understanding of cooling systems and piping installations in data centers
Track 2: Full MEP QA/QC ManagerFocus
- Mechanical Electrical Plumbing system integration
- Power distribution, controls, life safety, and water systems
- Coordination across all trades and disciplines
Responsibilities
- Lead overall MEP QA/QC program across the project
- Coordinate inspections across mechanical, electrical, and plumbing scopes
- Manage documentation, turnover packages, and quality reporting
- Interface with commissioning teams and client stakeholders
- Ensure all systems meet design intent and operational requirements
Ideal Candidate
- Experience overseeing full MEP QA/QC on large data center projects
- Ability to manage cross-discipline coordination and system integration
