Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatric Physical Therapist to join our dynamic healthcare team. Duties
- Assess pediatric patients’ physical capabilities, including mobility, strength, and coordination, to develop tailored treatment plans.
- Implement evidence-based therapy interventions such as physiotherapy, trigger point therapy, and neuromuscular re-education to promote patient rehabilitation.
- Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals including physicians, occupational therapists, and speech therapists to coordinate comprehensive care.
- Develop and adjust treatment plans based on patient progress, discharge planning needs, and evolving clinical standards.
- Maintain accurate and thorough clinical documentation in accordance with medical terminology and electronic health records (EHR) management standards.
- Educate patients’ families and caregivers on home exercises, community resources, and ongoing care strategies to support recovery outside the clinical setting.
- Participate in outpatient clinic activities, inpatient hospital rounds, or home health visits to deliver consistent patient care across various environments.
Requirements
- Valid license or certification as a Physical Therapist with practicing in a physical therapy role within your jurisdiction.
- Proven experience working with pediatric populations in outpatient rehabilitation centers or inpatient hospital settings.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, neurology, orthopedics, and geriatrics as they relate to pediatric therapy needs.
- Familiarity with outpatient clinic experience, home & community care settings, and outpatient rehabilitation center protocols.
- Proficiency in clinical documentation standards and electronic health records (EHR) or electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages and collaborate seamlessly with healthcare teams.
- Experience in discharge planning for pediatric patients and working with geriatric patients when applicable.

Pay: $46.67 - $56.20 per hour
