Duties
- Assess pediatric patients’ physical function, mobility, and development to develop personalized care plans that promote optimal growth and recovery
- Implement evidence-based physiotherapy techniques such as trigger point therapy, orthopedics-focused interventions, and movement re-education to address diverse conditions
- Coordinate discharge planning with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless transition from hospital to home or community settings
- Deliver patient-centered care across inpatient, outpatient, home health, and clinic environments while maintaining accurate documentation using electronic medical record (EMR) systems
- Educate families and caregivers on therapeutic exercises, activity modifications, and home care strategies to support ongoing progress
- Monitor patient progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans based on physiology knowledge, anatomy understanding, and clinical observations
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals in acute care settings to manage complex cases involving geriatrics or pediatric orthopedics
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy or a related field with current licensure or registration as a Pediatric Physical Therapist
- Proven experience in pediatrics with a strong foundation in patient care within hospital, outpatient, or home health settings
- Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and specialized therapies such as trigger point therapy and orthopedics
- Familiarity with discharge planning processes and developing comprehensive care plans for diverse pediatric conditions
- Experience working with EMR systems for documentation and patient management
- Ability to communicate effectively with children of various ages and their families while demonstrating patience and empathy
- Prior experience in inpatient hospital environments or outpatient clinics is highly desirable; home & community care experience is a plus

Pay: $47.33 - $57.00 per hour
