Job Title: Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician

Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and versatile Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician to support the ongoing maintenance and optimization of all machinery and systems within our facility. This role is critical to ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and safety of our production operations through hands-on troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Adhere to all plant and departmental safety rules, procedures, and PPE requirements.
- Perform daily maintenance activities including mechanical, electrical, and preventive maintenance (PM) tasks.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
- Communicate effectively with machine operators to identify and resolve issues quickly.
- Diagnose and repair circuit boards down to the component level.
- Repair and maintain equipment such as pumps, blowers, heaters, drives, gearboxes, conveyors, HVAC systems, and PLCs.
- Disassemble, clean, and reassemble production machinery as needed.
- Use a CMMS system to create, complete, and document work orders.
- Maintain and repair lift trucks, dollies, roll grabs, air compressors, and other process support equipment.
- Perform general industrial maintenance including lubrication, troubleshooting, infrastructure repair, and fabrication (e.g., welding, cutting, grinding, and carpentry).
- Operate shop equipment such as drill presses, saws, grinders, and hand tools.
- Work overtime as required to support production needs.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
Required:
- 2 years of industrial maintenance experience
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
- Willingness to obtain a certificate, Associate’s Degree, Millwright or Journeyman Card in a maintenance-related field within 6 years of hire (if not already held)
Preferred:
- Associate’s Degree, Millwright or Journeyman Card in a maintenance-related field
- PLC troubleshooting and minor editing experience (Allen-Bradley preferred)
- Experience with electrical, plumbing, hydraulic, and HVAC systems
