Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Middletown, OH, for a Dock/Door Technician. The Dock/Door Technician will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining dock equipment and door systems. Daily tasks will include diagnostic assessments, perform preventative maintenance, and ensuring operational safety standards. Collaboration with team members to address customer needs and ensure high-quality service is a priority in this role.
Qualifications
- Technical skills in installation, repair, and maintenance of dock equipment and commercial door systems
- Proficiency in diagnosing issues and conducting preventative maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems
- Strong understanding of safety standards and protocols in a commercial equipment setting
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Good communication and interpersonal skills for working with teams and clients
- Previous experience in a related field is preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Physical ability to meet job requirements including lifting, climbing, and working at heights
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
