Duties
- Perform lawn care tasks including mowing, edging, fertilizing, and aerating to keep landscapes healthy and vibrant
- Assist with landscape maintenance such as planting, pruning, tree care, and shrub trimming to enhance outdoor aesthetics
- Use hand tools and power tools safely for tasks like digging, planting, and installing landscape features
- Operate equipment such as excavators, snow plows, and irrigation systems to support construction and seasonal needs
- Maintain hardscape elements including patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other outdoor structures
- Support gardening activities by watering plants, applying mulch, and monitoring plant health
- Conduct routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure safety and efficiency during projects
Experience
- Prior experience with landscaping or groundskeeping is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided
- Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with power tools enhances your ability to perform tasks efficiently
- Knowledge of horticulture principles, lawn care techniques, and tree care practices is advantageous
- Experience operating construction equipment such as excavators or irrigation installation tools is a plus
