Pivotal Health Solutions is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Clerk to join our team in Watertown, SD. In this role, you will be responsible for the timely and accurate handling of shipments, including the preparation, organization, and quality control of incoming and outgoing products. This role involves maintaining inventory accuracy, operating forklifts, and ensuring efficient warehouse operations. The clerk will also be responsible for generating invoices and processing credit card payments for shipments.
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Generate invoices for each shipment and process credit card payments as needed
- Stage finished products for loading, ensuring correct and organized placement
- Pull and pack sales orders based on customer specifications and deadlines
- Notify the Customer Service department when shipments are ready for pickup
- Unload trucks and verify counts for all incoming items, ensuring accuracy
- Compare suppliers' counts to received goods and report discrepancies to the carrier and purchasing department
- Ensure that no damaged products are shipped, and no damaged raw materials are accepted
- Communicate with team members and other departments to coordinate shipping and receiving efforts
- Count and receive all incoming products, confirming quantities and quality
- Organize and maintain warehouse shelves, ensuring products are stored in an orderly manner
- Operate forklifts to move products within the warehouse as necessary
- Periodically check bins to ensure the accuracy of parts and part numbers
- Operate company computer system to verify parts currently in stock
- Participate in the annual physical inventory process to ensure accuracy and completeness of stock
- Performs other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a shipping/receiving or warehouse environment.
- Forklift certification.
- Experience with inventory management systems.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
