The Mechanic, Maintenance is responsible for repairs, adjustments, and ongoing maintenance of facilities. Performs general electrical and/or repairs of and various equipment on company premises. Conduct periodic inspections to determine maintenance work required. Maintains all equipment necessary to perform work.
Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
6 months mechanical maintenance experience
Compensation
$29-31 hourly, depending on experience

The Mechanic, Maintenance is responsible for repairs, adjustments, and ongoing maintenance of facilities. Performs general electrical and/or repairs of and various equipment on company premises. Conduct periodic inspections to determine maintenance work required. Maintains all equipment necessary to perform work.
Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
- Maintains and repairs all building systems, including forklifts, batteries, battery chargers, HVAC equipment, refrigeration system, dock doors and ramps, sprinkler system, the roof and all electrical services.
- Be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, and repairs of all powered material handling equipment on site.
- Tests emergency generator.
- Inspects various equipment and building areas, including, but not limited to, air compressors, roof and roof-mounted equipment and sprinkler systems; record data from inspections.
- Inspects all equipment and repair or replace as necessary to avoid down time.
- Inspects and lubricates freezer and cooler doors and performs needed repairs.
- Maintains inventory of repair parts.
- Designs and constructs carpentry items requested by other departments. For example, cubicle dividers and other office equipment.
- Responds to maintenance calls.
- Maintains knowledge of systems and buildings.
