Job Summary
The Heavy-Duty Truck Repair Specialist is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our fleet diesel equipment. This role involves performing preventative maintenance, repairs, and overhauls to meet industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performing routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake inspections, and tire rotations
- Repairing and replacing faulty components, including onboard computers and electrical systems
- Inspecting and maintaining air and air disc brakes, steering mechanisms, and wheel bearings
- Training and guiding other mechanics to ensure a high level of expertise within the team
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required
- 3-5 years of experience in medium to heavy-duty vehicle repair
- Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision
