Position Purpose:
The Yard Driver, Non-CDL is responsible for moving tractor trailers to/from the loading docks and parking loaded or empty trailers in designated areas in a safe and timely manner and in accordance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. Communicates and interacts with customers, vendors and co-workers professionally ensuring questions are answered accurately and in a timely manner. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and perform any duty assigned to best serve the company.

Position Details:
- Pay: $19/hr base, $2 additional premium once trained
- Shift: Sunday- Thursday, 1pm start time (typically 8-10hr shift)
- In the position you will be required to do general warehouse loading and unloading of the trailers, when you are not moving trailers in the yard

Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
- Performs inspections and moves trailers safely following all DOT regulations and company safe-driving policies.
- Fuels, moves, and parks tractors and trailers to the docks.
- Transports tractor trailers to offsite maintenance and/or inspection facilities; requires local city driving.
- Secures trucks, trailers, and equipment always. Completes all required documentation.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
