Position Details
The Warehouse Checker plays a critical role in ensuring return accuracy, loading all returns, pallets and totes on trailer, and to be in compliance with company standards before products are shipped. This role is responsible for verifying and inspecting incoming shipments returns, and maintaining proper documentation. Other duties include warehouse cleaning, rinsing out trailers, and making sure warehouse stays clean.
Warehouse Checkers work both independently and as part of a team to ensure all products meet company standards prior to shipment. Attention to detail and adherence to safety and quality procedures are essential for success in this role.
Position Details:
• Schedule: 4-day work weeks (Tuesday - Friday)
• Shift: 10:00am - 6:00pm
• Pay: $23.00/hour
Position Purpose
Warehouse associates are the foundation of our company’s success. As a Warehouse Checker, you will work actively, safely, and independently to ensure accuracy, quality, and efficiency in the flow of products through our distribution process.
Primary Responsibilities
The Warehouse Checker verifies and tracks outbound products within the warehouse. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
• Verifies accuracy of outbound orders, including item selection, quantities, and labeling
• Inspects outbound shipments for accuracy and damages, reporting discrepancies as needed
• Ensures proper application of shipping labels, truck run, and stop numbers
• Identifies and communicates inventory discrepancies or quality concerns
• Maintains a high level of attention to detail in all areas including aisles, racking, dock doors, and staging areas
• Ensures products are properly staged and ready for loading
• Maintains a clean and organized workspace, returning supplies to assigned locations
• Follows all preferred work methods, safety policies, and company procedures
• Reports any unsafe conditions or practices immediately
• Performs other related duties as assigned
