Major Functional Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain and support inventory control processes to ensure accurate product tracking.
- Apply knowledge of barcodes and traceability systems to support FTR204 compliance.
- Monitor vendor communications in the FTR204 mailbox and respond promptly.
- Develop and sit in the liaison role between PFG’s third party traceability partner (currently TrustWell) and our Suppliers and Customers
- Communicate PFG traceability requirements to vendors and maintain updated vendor contact lists.
- Maintain current customer traceability contact lists and support illness-related inquiries.
- Monitor corporate mailboxes for traceback or recall requests from operating companies and customers, providing resolution or escalation if necessary.
- Respond to regulatory requests for traceback information and trace-forward effectiveness checks.
- Troubleshoot and manage vendor and customer traceability issues through Jira, ensuring proper routing and documentation.
- Develop strong working knowledge of FTR204 and other applicable food safety regulations.
- Maintain and update the PFG Food Traceability Plan in partnership with the Quality Assurance team.
- Grow into a leadership role overseeing FTR204 compliance and third-party key data element exchange systems.
- Performs other duties as assigned

Required Education:
- Associate's Degree/2-Year Technical
- 7 - 10 Years
- 7 years of Warehouse Operations (receiving, Inventory control, data management, etc) or Quality Assurance or Procurement experience.
- Prior experience with FTR 204 or similar compliance/regulatory frameworks.
- Familiarity with vendor/customer relationship management software.
- Proven experience in inventory control and traceability systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially spreadsheet applications, and email management tools.
- Familiarity with Jira or similar ticketing systems for issue tracking and resolution.
