Responsibilities
- Strong technical diagnostics and troubleshooting abilities
- Experience with Yamaha, Suzuki, and Mercury outboards
- Knowledge of marine electronics
- Knowledge of jet propulsion systems (Rotax and Yamaha) or willingness to learn.
- Experience maintaining and repairing marine electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
- Ability to work in confined spaces
- Ability to operate a forklift as needed
- Ability to use a computer for diagnostics and navigate service manuals
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must have his/her own tools or the ability to purchase his/her own tools. Any specialty tools will be supplied by Performance East Inc
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of rigging and boat accessories
- Valid Drivers License
- Ability to operate boats and outboards
