We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Service Manager to lead our automotive service department. Duties
- Oversee daily operations of the service department, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
- Manage and mentor service technicians, providing guidance on automotive diagnostics and repair.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism, ensuring a positive experience.
- Implement upselling strategies for maintenance services and repairs to maximize revenue.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed, including auto estimating and service writing.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies in all aspects of service operations.
- Collaborate with sales teams to promote automotive services and enhance customer engagement.
- Monitor inventory levels of parts and supplies, placing orders as necessary to maintain stock.
- Conduct regular training sessions for staff on new technologies, repair techniques, and customer service practices.
Experience
- Proven experience in auto service management within a dealership environment is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair, including transmissions, brake repair, oil changes, alignment, suspension, tire service, diesel engine repair, shocks & struts, air brake systems, and auto body repair.
- Familiarity with automotive diagnostics tools and techniques to assess vehicle issues effectively.
- Excellent customer service skills with a track record of building strong relationships with clients.
- Experience in cash handling and managing financial transactions within a service department.
