To support the continued growth of our business, PDG is hiring an Associate Recruiter. This is a full-time remote role where the work will be performed during Eastern Time Zone business hours. PDG’s compensation package for this role includes a competitive salary, a comprehensive benefits package, and participation in the PDG annual bonus program.
Position Summary
The Associate Recruiter is a friendly, compassionate, and communicative individual who is responsible for working closely with the Manager, Talent Acquisition to source, qualify, present and place full time and contract professionals for internal and client facing roles. The Associate Recruiter is an individual who loves talking with people, is genuinely interested in candidate’s strengths and what motivates them to help them find meaningful work.
This position is a virtual full-time role with full benefits.
Responsibilities
- Actively source, recruit, screen and interview candidates for assigned open positions adhering to tight timelines with a keen sense of urgency
- Mine internal applicant tracking database, online job sites, and network to source candidates
- Utilize PDG’s applicant tracking system (JazzHR) to track applicants through the candidate engagement process through placement
- Participate in weekly touch base calls with Manager, Talent Acquisition to provide weekly status update on assigned jobs and pipelining efforts.
- Meet with and communicate frequently with hiring managers to determine fit with each role and pivot where necessary
- Network with learning and development professionals via social media and other groups or associations to help source candidates and promote PDG’s brand
- Use every opportunity available to request referrals from candidates
- Proactively source and meet with candidates to develop pipelines for key roles
- Coordinate interviews with hiring manager and external clients
- Regularly report progress to hiring managers and Manager, Talent Acquisition and pivot based on feedback to find the best person for each role.
Requirements
Education and Professional Experience:
- 1 to 3 years’ experience in recruiting or other professional service-related role
- Experience in learning and development and/or experience recruiting for learning and development positions preferred
General Knowledge and Skills
The Associate Recruiter can:
- Communicate clearly and succinctly with candidates and hiring managers using appropriate communication channels
- Attract applicants by posting positions on career boards, utilizing social media, networking with professionals and recruiters, professional organizations, etc.
- Determine applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants, analyzing responses, verifying references, and comparing qualifications to job requirements
- Assist with any logistical needs tied to interviewing or hiring a new resource such as arranging management interviews, client culture and on-site location details
- Use Microsoft products to stay organized and collaborate with others
