Role Description
This is an on-site, part-time role for an Assistant Strength and Conditioning (S&C) Coach, based in the Austin, San Antonio, Houston & DFW Metropolitan Areas. The Assistant S&C Coach will support the implementation of training programs, assist athletes in performing exercises safely and effectively, monitor progress, and maintain a positive, motivating environment. The role involves collaborating closely with the head coach and providing guidance to participants in alignment with the principles of the Performance Course.
Qualifications
• Experience in athletics, with the ability to demonstrate exercises and motivate athletes preferred
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Effective communication, leadership, and teamwork abilities
• Knowledge of biomechanics, exercise physiology, and program design is preferred
• Relevant certifications such as CSCS, USAW, or SCCC are desirable
• Passion for athletic development and fostering a positive and inclusive team environment
• Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or related field preferred
