Role Description The General Cleaner role is a full-time, on-site position based in Milwaukee, WI. This role is responsible for maintaining clean, safe, and orderly environments in assigned facilities by performing routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces. Daily activities may include cleaning restrooms, break rooms, offices, and public areas; removing trash and recyclables; restocking supplies; and responding to special cleaning requests. The General Cleaner is expected to follow established safety and cleanliness standards, operate cleaning equipment properly, and report any maintenance or safety issues to supervision. This role may require working evenings, weekends, or event-based schedules depending on facility needs.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform general cleaning tasks, including floor care, restroom sanitation, trash removal, and surface disinfection.
- Capability to safely use and maintain common cleaning tools and equipment such as vacuums, mops, and cleaning agents.
- Reliability in following cleaning schedules, checklists, and instructions while meeting quality and safety standards.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and carry supplies or equipment for extended periods as required by the role.
