Overview of the Position
At Kindthread, hitting commercial targets is essential for success as our Commercial Sales Manager. You’ll propel our business development by overseeing growth strategies and ensuring both customer satisfaction and sales success. You’ll work closely with clients, monitor the progress of the sales plans, and provide support to team members. As our Commercial Sales Manager, you’ll manage a variety of tasks, concentrating on expenses and revenues to drive our overall business growth.
Essential Job Duties
- Implement strategies that boost the overall commercial sales growth for the company
- Oversee the operational and financial management of the Commercial Sales Team
- Develop and foster client relationships to create business growth opportunities
- Establish financial plans that go hand-in-hand with our company values
- Identify expansion and growth opportunities and use commercial management skills to implement the same
Responsibilities
- Negotiate with clients, customers and suppliers to maximize the ROI of the Commercial Division
- Coordinate with the Wholesale Team Leader and give regular updates on the progress of various sales plans
- Conduct periodic market research and identify prospective business opportunities
- Maintain reports and records of the budgets, expenses and revenue that fall under the commercial manager job role
- Manage risks and devise strategies to overcome them
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Proven experience as a commercial manager
- Knowledge of business development strategies
- Strong leadership abilities with a strategic mindset
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Familiarity with project management principles
- Ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships with customers, suppliers, cross-functional teams, and stakeholders
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
- Strong influencing and management skills, with a demonstrated ability to collaborate, build teams, and make participative decisions
- Effective change management skills with experience leading through periods of growth
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Marketing, Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in commercial sales, ideally within the Healthcare Professional Apparel industry
