Position Summary:


The Technical Education Manager is responsible for designing and executing a Customer Technical Education strategy that enables our Customers to successfully deploy and use the Perforce solutions and derive value for their organization. This includes developing, implementing, and managing innovative learning and development programs to advance Perforce Customers capabilities using our solutions. This role focuses on enhancing skills, knowledge, and performance of our solutions globally. This role also has a special focus on enabling our Service Delivery Partners on a global basis to allow them to deliver professional services at the same level of skill as our own resources. This role is a dual role of defining the strategy and creating, facilitating and coordinating the training delivery.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough needs assessments to identify gaps in technical training objects across Perforce brands.
  • Manage the learning management system to enable tracking, assigning, and updating learning paths.
  • Develop and implement an innovative technical training strategy leveraging utilizing various instructional techniques and formats that provides a cohesive learning experience across the Perforce brands.
  • Lead the design and production of engaging learning content, including e-learning modules, videos, presentations, and other educational materials for Perforce Customers.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure accuracy and relevance of training materials.
  • Work closely with the Perforce Partner team to develop Customer technical training that can be used as a foundation for the Partner Enablement program with an emphasis on Service Delivery Partners.
  • Analyze training data and metrics to measure the impact and success of learning initiatives, making data-driven recommendations for improvements.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and new technologies in learning and development to enhance training programs.
  • Provide guidance and support across the Perforce organization regarding technical education learning opportunities.
  • Demonstrate behavior consistent with Perforce’s mission, vision, and values daily


Requirements:
  • 5 years of related professional experience. All relevant experience including work, education, transferable skills, and development operations technical experience will be considered.
  • Proven experience in technical instructional design, curriculum development, and training delivery.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience implementing and managing blended learning approaches.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and measure the effectiveness of training programs.
  • Experience working in a global corporate environment or across diverse industries.
  • Advanced skills in PowerPoint and creating professional quality slides are highly desirable
  • Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS) including Docebo, Articulate Storyline, Rise, Credly, or other eLearning software/tools.
  • Technical skills associated within the Development Operations space, desired

$132,000 - $170,000 a year
