Account Executive - Retail and Consumer ATLANTA, GA, United States and 2 more Job Description We currently have a career opportunity for an Account Executive - Retail and Consumer to join our team located in Atlanta, Dallas or Houston. Job Overview: The Account Executive - Retail and Consumer is a full portfolio seller, who focuses on a specific list of Enterprise and Strategic clients. Assigned clients are a mix of existing and new targets. Perficient is always looking for the best and brightest talent and we need you! Responsibilities Applies and leverages Perficient Sales Processes, Solution Selling and Account Management practices. Responsible for generating sales in excess of $5+M per year of IT consulting services. Candidate should possess a strong suite of local client relationships (Fortune 500, CIOs, Senior Information Systems Executives, and Senior Business Executives) as well as industry relationships (software vendors, integrators). Has a “hunter” mentality – loves to open new accounts, build strong relationships and shape large strategic deals. Leads and manages customer engagement opportunities from lead generation, to deal review, to negotiations and closing a deal. 5+ years Account Management Experience. Qualifications Years of Experience: 5+ years of services sales or professional consulting experience. Experience in the following industries a plus: Retail, Distribution, Travel and Hospitality. A proven track record of achieving and exceeding revenue objectives in complex solutions environment at Fortune 500 clients. Knowledge of/experience with structured sales methodologies, e.g., Strategic Selling, Solution Selling, SPIN, Power based Selling, Target Account Selling. Able to partner with clients to understand their organizational needs and recommend solutions that add value to their business. Strong verbal, written communication, and listening skills; strong customer service and interpersonal skills. Excellent collaboration and team-building skills. Familiarity with AI-Enhanced platform is a plus A solid understanding of AI capabilities and limitations including ethical considerations is expected Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and support data-informed task execution. The new hire salary range displays the minimum and maximum salary targets for this position across all US locations, and the range has not been adjusted for any specific state differentials. It is not typical for a candidate to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the unique facts and circumstances regarding each candidate. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this position is $73,000.00 to $170,000.00. Please note that the salary range posted reflects the base salary only and does not include benefits or any potential variable compensation programs.
