We currently have a career opportunity for a Data Strategy Consultant to join our team located in Dallas or Chicago or Minneapolis!

Job Overview:

If you have well rounded experience in multiple areas including CRM/CX and ERP domains, ecosystems comprising PLM, PIM, MDM etc., Data governance, literacy and lineage and are NOT a pureplay Techy, then we are interested in talking with you. You must exhibit high energy and enthusiasm, able to create compelling presentations with strong thought leadership / POVs. You must have prior consulting experience and pre-sales leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Strong experience developing data strategies for widely varying industries and client landscapes
• Strong experience architecting enterprise data architectures
• Expertise in at least two hyperscaler technologies – AWS, Azure, GCP – From data perspective and not infrastructure perspective
• Expertise in cloud-based data warehouse and/or lakehouse technology platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks etc.
• Strong experience in latest data trends and associated technologies including, but not limited to, Data Quality, Data Catalog, Data Lineage, Data Governance, Master Data Management
• Familiarity with Data Governance Concepts and Data Governance Organization (DGO) structures
• Expertise in building solutions from scratch as well as modernizing legacy architectures
• Ability to communicate complex solutions to technical and non-technical users at various levels – typically department directors to C-Suite
• Experience with both on-premises and cloud technologies and platforms
• Expertise architecting solutions with multiple disciplines – performance, scalability, security
• Crisp and clear communication – both verbal and written
• Ability to create strong presentations using various tools
• Knowledge of up-and-coming AI tools and technologies and industry trends
  
  

Qualifications

• Lead Pursuit teams with clients as a Data SME – RFP responses, Proactive proposals etc.
• Work with multiple business units with in Perficient
• Lead complex client engagement delivery, often with ambiguity and little direction
• Plan and lead workshops with client teams to understand current landscape, requirements, constraints and map to the latest technology products and platforms to come up with future architecture
• Create phased implementation roadmaps from scope and resources perspectives
• Articulate complex architectures to a variety of client teams, both technical and non-technical and build consensus among varying
• Learn new technologies and platforms quickly and keep experience relevant to clients’ needs
• Lead teams based off global locations in multiple time zones
• Represent Perficient as an authority on enterprise architecture topics at industry forums, conferences etc.
• Take ownership of developing solutions, accelerators, and data teams
• Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and support data-informed task execution.
• Familiarity with AI-enhanced platforms is a plus.
• A solid understanding of AI capabilities and limitations including ethical considerations is expected
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Must be open to travel.

The salary range for this position takes into consideration a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, level of experience, applicable office location, training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The new hire salary range displays the minimum and maximum salary targets for this position across all US locations, and the range has not been adjusted for any specific state differentials. It is not typical for a candidate to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the unique facts and circumstances regarding each candidate. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this position is $92,118 to $202,730. Please note that the salary range posted reflects the base salary only and does not include benefits or any potential variable compensation programs.
