What You Will Do
The Maintenance Planner is responsible for developing detailed repair plans, coordinating maintenance activities, and ensuring equipment reliability and efficiency. This role involves collaboration with various departments, managing maintenance projects, and supporting cost reduction initiatives.
Additional Responsibilities Include
- Conduct inspections and collaborate with maintenance, operators, and leaders.
- Arrange equipment and resources for downtime activities and parts kitting.
- Manage equipment modifications, removals, and update documentation.
- Develop preventative, predictive, and routine maintenance tasks and standards.
- Manage spare parts inventory to support cost-savings initiatives.
- Oversee maintenance projects, including contracting, timelines, permits, and quality control.
- Handle critical breakdowns, including emergency contracting and expediting parts.
- Schedule and coordinate contractor and internal services.
- Assess and allocate resources and parts for maintenance schedules.
- Create Purchase Requisitions and Orders and manage parts allocation.
- Maintain equipment reliability and meet metrics.
- Participate in supplier and contractor selection.
- Ensure data accuracy in SAP and support inventory changes.
- Act as backup for the MRO Buyer.
- Adhere to safety regulations, policies, and Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Assist with additional maintenance initiatives as needed.
- High School Diploma or equivalent; college/technical courses in SAP preferred
- 5 years of manufacturing maintenance experience
- Proficient in MS Word and Excel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong time management and problem-solving abilities
- Basic knowledge of industrial maintenance and manufacturing equipment
- Strong analytical and math skills
- Experience with SAP Maintenance Module or other CMMS preferred
- Experience in Maintenance Planning preferred
