Duties
- Operate lawn-care equipment, including mowers, trimmers, blowers, and hand tools, to maintain lawns and gardens efficiently.
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks, including edging, pruning, planting, fertilizing, and weed control to ensure vibrant and healthy outdoor spaces.
- Use power tools and machinery like excavators or other construction equipment for hardscape installation or site preparation projects.
- Conduct tree care activities such as trimming, pruning, and removal to promote safety and aesthetic appeal.
- Assist with irrigation system installation, repair, and maintenance to ensure proper watering of landscaped areas.
- Support snow plowing operations during winter months to keep pathways safe and accessible.
- Assit with cleaning jobs and junk removal from properties.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, including site conditions, equipment usage, and safety checks.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with experience operating landscaping or construction equipment.
- Familiarity with lawn care techniques, landscape maintenance practices, and gardening principles.
- Ability to handle hand tools, power tools, and landscaping machinery safely and effectively.
- Experience working with excavators or other heavy machinery is a plus.
- Knowledge of horticulture, tree care (including trimming), hardscape installation, and irrigation systems preferred.
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform outdoor tasks in various weather conditions.
