Non-Emergency Medical Transportation Driver

We are looking for a dependable, compassionate, and professional NEMT Driver to transport patients safely to and from medical appointments, hospitals, dialysis centers, therapy appointments, and other healthcare facilities.

esponsibilities

• Safely transport passengers to and from scheduled medical appointments.
• Assist passengers with entering and exiting the vehicle when needed.
• Provide courteous, respectful, and professional customer service.
• Follow assigned routes and scheduled pickup/drop-off times.
• Maintain communication with dispatch regarding pickups, drop-offs, delays, and changes.
• Complete required trip documentation accurately.
• Keep the vehicle clean, safe, and well maintained.
• Follow all company policies, traffic laws, and NEMT safety requirements.
• Protect passenger privacy and maintain confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
• Professional, patient, and respectful attitude.
• Ability to communicate effectively with passengers, caregivers, medical facilities, and dispatch.
• Ability to assist passengers with mobility needs.
• Previous NEMT, medical transportation, senior transportation, or healthcare experience is a plus but not required.
• Must be able to pass required background checks and meet applicable driving/insurance requirements.
