The role
As a Landscape Apprentice, you will work with our field team and learn the shared foundation every great crew member needs: safety, work habits, tool care, property protection, cleanup, communication, and basic field execution.
In your first phase, you may support both maintenance and installation work while we help determine your best long-term path.
That means you could help with work such as:
- Cleanup and site or property preparation
- Material handling and jobsite organization
- Mulch, planting, and bed support
- Tool and truck organization
- Basic field support for recurring maintenance work
- Basic field support for installation projects
You do not need years of experience to start. We need someone who listens, works hard, asks good questions, and follows the plan.
What success looks like
- You show up ready: reliable attendance and on-time starts are expected from day one.
- You work safely: zero preventable safety incidents, with care for trucks, tools, materials, and customer property.
- You build skill fast: by 60 days, basic field tasks meet our standard.
- You earn a clear next step: by 90 days, we can confidently guide you into the path that fits you best.
Where it goes
This role is our one point of entry into the field team.
From here, strong performers typically grow into one of two primary paths:
- Maintenance Technician
- Installation Technician
From there, growth can continue into advanced technician work, specialized skills, equipment operation, crew-level responsibility, and eventually leadership.
