Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Heavy Body Autobody Technician to join our team. This position focuses on structural and major collision repairs on a wide range of vehicles. The ideal candidate takes pride in high-quality workmanship, understands OEM repair procedures, and can efficiently handle complex repairs from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform heavy collision repairs, including structural/frame repairs and major panel replacement
- Measure, straighten, and align vehicle frames and unibody structures
- Remove and install major body components (quarter panels, roofs, rails, aprons, etc.)
- Weld, section, and bond panels according to OEM specifications
- Diagnose structural damage and determine proper repair procedures
- Work closely with estimators and painters to ensure accurate and timely repairs
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Ensure all repairs meet quality, safety, and manufacturer standards
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in heavy body or structural collision repair preferred
- Strong knowledge of frame machines, measuring systems, and welding equipment
- Ability to read and follow OEM repair procedures
- Proficient with MIG welding, panel replacement, and metal straightening
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Must have own hand tools and specialty autobody tools required to perform heavy repairs

Pay: $26.41 - $31.81 per hour
