Inventory Specialist

After the 90-day probation, the pay rate will be $22.00

Open availability required for possibly morning, afternoon & weekend shifts.

The Inventory Specialist will be responsible for everything inventory related in house. The Inventory Specialist is required but not limited to working closely with our centralized inventory team, receiving and verifying orders, processing orders through our metrc and treez system to remain compliant, making sure each product is stickered to then be sold in store, upholds policies procedures and compliance related to all things inventory, keeping shelves stocked, and will support the store with anything inventory related.

This role requires a background check.

Core Responsibilities

· Receiving and verifying weekly orders

· Stickering each and every product in preparation for it to be sold in store

· Make products available for floor staff to sell

· Keep backstock areas neat and organized

· Communicate with Centralized Inventory Manager, Retail Operations Manager, and Buyer about inventory issues or stock level issues.

· Follow required Metrc requirements to stay compliant

· Use FIFO to make sure oldest products are sold first

· All other duties assigned

Working Conditions

Positions in this class require: typing, talking, hearing, seeing, and repetitive motions. May be required to lift up to 50 pounds, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects while completing essential functions. This position is comprised of sedentary work, which involves sitting at a computer a majority of the workday; walking and standing are required only occasionally. The employee is required to have close visual acuity to perform activities such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures, viewing a computer screen, handling smartphone devices, and reading extensively. The office environment is climate controlled and little outside activity.
