Responsibilities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC systems.
- Perform routine maintenance on HVAC equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Repair or replace faulty components in HVAC systems, including electrical wiring, mechanical parts, compressors, fans, pumps, and refrigerant lines.
- Install new HVAC systems and equipment in commercial or residential properties following manufacturer specifications and safety protocols.
- Conduct plumbing work ensuring proper connections and leak prevention.
- Maintain detailed service records, complete reports on repairs performed, parts used, and system conditions for each job.
- Communicate effectively with clients to explain system issues, repair procedures, and maintenance recommendations while providing excellent customer service.
Skills
- Proficiency reading schematics, technical manuals, and electrical diagrams essential for diagnostics and repairs.
- Knowledge of HVAC design principles for system installation planning and troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience with plumbing, refrigeration, boiler operation, and appliance repair.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic instruments.
- Ability to perform electrical diagnostics on electrical systems within HVAC units using appropriate testing devices.
- Field service experience with a focus on property maintenance or commercial/residential HVAC system installation and maintenance.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record to operate company vehicles safely.
Requirements
- HVAC/Plumbing License or 2 Years Experience
- Ability to work without supervision and as part of a team
- On Call - 2 Weeks per Year!
