Duties
- Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments, materials, and supplies for each procedure, ensuring aseptic technique and infection control protocols are strictly followed
- Assist dentists chairside during procedures such as restorations, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry treatments
- Take high-quality X-rays and operate dental imaging equipment including 3D scanners to support accurate diagnosis and treatment planning
- Manage patient records by updating medical history, vital signs, and dental charts using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like Eaglesoft while maintaining HIPAA compliance
- Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures, answering questions, and ensuring comfort throughout visits
- Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing medical documentation, and coordinating with the dental receptionist to streamline clinic flow
- Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment adhering to infection control standards and ensuring all equipment is sterilized and ready for use
Experience
- Prior experience working in a dental clinic setting with proficiency in dental assisting duties is highly preferred
- Familiarity with EMR systems such as Eaglesoft is essential for efficient record management
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical coding practices ensures compliance with privacy standards
- Demonstrated ability to perform X-ray procedures safely and accurately using dental imaging technology
- Strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and infection control protocols is required
- Previous exposure to general dentistry environments involving chairside assisting, vital signs measurement, and aseptic techniques will support success in this role

Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
