Perfect Smile Dental is seeking a skilled and certified Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA) to join our growing team. If you're passionate about dentistry and looking to make a meaningful impact, we want to hear from you!
Position Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday - Friday
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform expanded functions including placing restorations, taking impressions, and applying sealants
• Assist dentists during procedures and ensure optimal patient comfort
• Take and develop dental x-rays (must be x-ray certified)
• Maintain sterilization and infection control protocols
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
• Accurately document patient records and treatment notes
Qualifications:
- Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA) Certification (Required)
- X-ray Certification (Required)
- Strong clinical and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Experience with digital charting and dental software is a plus
