Assistant Store Manager -- Perfect Pots In The Village at Kitchen Kettle Village

Hours: 24-32 hours weekly

2-3 weekdays and at least 2 Saturdays per month. Some flexibility is required as hours fluctuate seasonally, with reduced hours in January and February.

Perfect Pots is looking for a warm, capable, and highly dependable Assistant Store Manager to help lead our shop at Kitchen Kettle Village.

Our store is a busy, welcoming destination filled with plants and quality made garden gifts. We serve both Lancaster County locals and visitors from all over. Creating a memorable customer experience is at the heart of what we do.

This position is ideal for someone who genuinely enjoys people, takes pride in creating a beautiful retail environment, and naturally sees what needs to be done and takes ownership of it.

As Assistant Store Manager, you'll work closely with the Store Manager to keep the shop running smoothly while also serving as a leader for the shopkeeper team. You will also manage inventory for the store.

This is very much a hands on position. You'll help customers, care for plants, merchandise displays, unpack inventory, and ring sales alongside the rest of the team. There is an opportunity to grow into greater responsibliity with Perfect Pots.

• Are a positive leader who can give direction kindly and confidently
• Comfortable with digital POS and inventory systems and other applications
• Have excellent customer service and communication skills
• Are organized, detail-oriented and able to prioritize independently
• Enjoy plants, flowers, gardening, gifts, and merchandising
• Have retail or customer service experience, leadership experience is preferred
• Can lift 50lbs, stand for entire shift, and work in varying weather
• Available to work approximately 2 Saturdays per month
