Territory Sales RepresentativeOverviewThe Territory Sales Representative is responsible for increasing product presence within automotive warehouse distributors and independent repair shops across a defined region in Florida. This role focuses on opening new accounts, driving product placement, supporting shop and counter staff, and generating demand that leads to sustained revenue growth. The position is ideal for candidates who enjoy field based work, building relationships, and developing business through consistent activity.Responsibilities• Visit warehouse distributors and independent repair shops daily to promote product lines and strengthen relationships• Increase shelf presence through product placement, merchandising support, and counter level engagement• Identify new business opportunities and open new accounts within the assigned territory• Conduct cold and warm visits to shops and distributors to introduce products and gather market information• Provide basic product knowledge training to shop owners, technicians, and counter staff• Support promotional programs including samples, point of sale materials, and incentive offerings• Map the territory to identify high potential accounts and maintain an organized visit cadence• Track weekly activity including shop visits, distributor meetings, follow ups, and account openings• Provide field based feedback regarding competitive activity, pricing, product performance, and customer needs• Participate in occasional regional events and customer meetings• Meet assigned sales targets and activity expectationsQualifications• Experience in automotive, aftermarket, parts, route sales, or field based sales preferred• Strong comfort level making cold calls and conducting unannounced shop visits• Ability to build rapport quickly with counter staff, technicians, shop owners, and distributor teams• Strong communication and relationship building skills• Self driven with the ability to manage a large geographic territory independently• Ability to learn technical product information and communicate it simply• Valid drivers license and daily ability to travel throughout the territoryWork EnvironmentThis is a field based role requiring daily travel to customer locations including repair shops, warehouse distributors, and parts stores. The position requires frequent interaction with shop owners, technicians, and counter staff in a hands on environment.CompensationBase salary and commission structure designed to reward activity, new account development, and revenue growth. Commission is uncapped. Company vehicle or mileage program provided along with necessary sales materials.
