Architectural Sales Representative
Reports To: Vice President of Sales & Marketing
Summary: Promote and develop window and door business in assigned regions. Secure specifications, contributing to the advancement of the Company’s specifications and leads.
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Foster and cultivate strong relationships with key industry connections, extending to all downstream customers involved in demand creation.
- Increase business volume with all accounts in New York Metro, Boston, and other national accounts.
- Provide continuous expertise and education to your account base through regular calls, visits, and active participation in pivotal industry organizations.
- Become the go-to expert offering product solutions and applications. Share your knowledge by educating and training with all the Outside Sales Representatives, Architects and customers and equip them with the latest knowledge and insights on our existing and new products.
- Work hand in hand with Outside Sales Representatives to synchronize product sales strategies.
- Facilitate product knowledge training and educate Architects about our expansive line of products in both small and large group settings, Schedule and present AIA CES Courses to architects.
- Partner with Architects on writing specifications for Company on project plans and outline rough project budgeting.
- Provide excellent in-field support for projects including responding and assisting with jobsite investigations, services calls, mock-up installation and in-field testing.
- Participate in assigned events such as trade shows, networking event, company galas, corporate events to develop relationships with customers and maintain a positive corporate image.
Qualifications and Experiences
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of five (5) years of sales experience in Architecture, Construction, aluminum, Curtain Wall/Window Wall and vinyl UPVC window manufacturing industry
- Excellent communication skills
- Valid state motor vehicle operator’s license. Willingness to travel extensively in assigned territory.
Salary : $90,000 - $120,000
