Swiss Valley

We are looking for bartenders to join our team to provide pleasant, prompt, and courteous guest service to our customers.  Our bartenders are friendly, outgoing, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.  The Swiss Valley staff works as a team, so you may also assist other departments as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Customer Service: Bartenders should have good customer service skills, including patience, understanding, and empathy. Bartenders are in constant communication with our guests and must be friendly when assisting them, while being an ambassador for Swiss Valley.
• Upkeep & Cleanliness: Keep bar areas clean and organized, and ensure that glasses and utensils are clean.
• Communication: Communicate effectively with guests, coworkers, and supervisors. Be able to work well in a team with other bartenders, managers, waiters, and assistant bartenders.
• Professionalism: Behave professionally and maintain a positive attitude.
• Problem Solve: Solve problems effectively and efficiently, especially during busy shifts.
• Physical Activities: Bartenders may need to lift heavy cases of liquor, beer, and wine, and perform other physical activities. They are on their feet for most of their shifts.

Requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 18 years old by 11/1/2025 to apply.
• All employees age 18 will complete a background check upon hire.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, is required.
• Bartenders are required to follow all state and local laws for serving alcohol responsibly, as well as alcohol serving policies as required by MI State Law.
• Must be able to lift 55 lbs.
• At least one-year of food & beverage/bartending experience is preferred.

Pay Rate: 

• $14.00 per hour
• Employees may receive a pay raise with each year of experience working at Swiss Valley.

Swiss Valley is looking to staff approximately 10 bartenders.

Salary : $14
