Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Controller role located in Akron, OH. The Controller will oversee and manage the organization's financial operations, including maintaining financial records, ensuring compliance with legal regulations, and preparing financial statements and reports. Responsibilities include managing budgets, forecasting financial data, conducting audits, supervising accounting staff, and driving process improvements within the accounting department.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Financial Reporting, Budgeting, and Forecasting
- Expertise in General Accounting, Accounts Payable/Receivable, and Reconciliation
- Experience with Tax Compliance, Regulatory Filing, and Auditing procedures
- Proficiency in Financial Analysis, Cost Management, and Payroll Operations
- Familiarity with ERP systems and financial software
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and analytical abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA designation preferred)
- Proven leadership experience managing a team in an accounting or finance role
- Ability to work effectively in an on-site capacity in Akron, OH
