Swimming Pool Service Technician

Perennial South is a custom pool construction and service company located in Dothan Alabama. We pride ourselves in being a workplace that works hard to serve our clients with A quality every day. We are fully licensed and insured and our team members are among the best in the swimming pool industry. We continue to grow and are seeking a solution-oriented and customer-focused Service Technician to join our team.

This position is responsible for general cleaning, service and maintenance of our customers swimming pools as well as diagnosing issues with the swimming pool and providing solutions to each and every customer they are assigned.

The ideal person for this position will love to work outdoors. They will be a self- starter who has the ability to work independently. They will handle all matters with integrity and embrace the concept and requirements of delivering A quality every day.

Responsibilities

Success in this position will be determined by the following measurable results:

• Service Experience – Brushing, Netting, and Emptying Traps in Customers Pools
• Water Balance Experience - Testing and Maintaining Pool Water Chemistry
• Problem Solving - the ability to find and address problems and issues that may arise.
• Manage a daily schedule of customers along a route.
• The ability to manage an inventory of equipment on the truck and properly utilize and replenish the inventory when needed.
• The ability to spot opportunities outside of the required task, such as upgrading other equipment or adding to the customer experience with other products.

Requirements

• a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record;
• no felony convictions (must pass a criminal background check);
• the ability to lift up to 80 lbs;
• Previous construction and/or renovation experience.

No other specific experience is required; however, a high school degree is preferred.
