Responsibilities:
Lead project execution
- Own end-to-end execution of creative projects, from kickoff through delivery.
- Develop and manage integrated project plans, timelines, milestones, dependencies, approvals, and stakeholder touchpoints.
- Lead status meetings, drive decisions, document next steps, and ensure clear accountability across teams.
- Proactively identify risks, dependencies, resource constraints, scope changes, and decision-making needs; troubleshoot issues and adjust plans to keep work moving forward.
- Lead project close-out activities, including retrospectives, to capture learnings and inform future work.
Partner on strategic work
- Partner closely with Creative Account Leads on larger strategic initiatives, supporting intake, planning, prioritization, coordination, and execution.
- Translate creative briefs, business objectives, and strategic direction into clear, actionable workplans for creative and delivery teams.
- Provide concise visibility into project status, decisions, tradeoffs, risks, and escalation needs to support informed decision-making.
Independently Manage Tactical Projects
- Lead execution of tactical, production, and delivery-focused projects where a Creative Account Lead is not assigned.
- Apply sound judgment and business fluency to guide day-to-day decisions, resolve issues, and keep stakeholders aligned.
- Ensure work remains aligned to goals, messaging, brand standards, compliance needs, and channel requirements, escalating when needed.
Cross-Channel & Cross-Functional Coordination
- Coordinate execution across creative, content, digital, social, email, production, paid media, compliance, legal, business partners, and external vendors.
- Partner with internal media teams to manage creative delivery timelines, specifications, versioning, approvals, trafficking needs, and final handoffs for paid channels.
- Create and maintain campaign workspaces, status trackers, and collaboration tools that support planning, visibility, and team accountability.
- Ensure deliverables across channels are aligned, properly sequenced, approved, and ready for launch or handoff.
Project Health & Continuous Improvement
- Monitor project health across scope, timing, resourcing assumptions, stakeholder readiness, approvals, and risk.
- Use insights from retrospectives, debriefs, and lessons learned to improve planning, execution, stakeholder engagement, and team effectiveness over time.
Requirements:
- 8 years of creative project management experience in an in-house agency, external creative agency, marketing organization, or similarly complex delivery environment, Workfront experience a plus.
- Proven ability to manage integrated creative work across multiple channels, including paid and organic social, email, digital, video, print, landing pages, and customer communications.
- Experience supporting marketing, creative, digital, paid media, or customer communications programs, including creative versioning, specifications, approvals, and handoffs.
- Strong organizational, communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to lead projects independently and influence without authority.
- Ability to balance structure with flexibility in a fast-paced, evolving environment with competing priorities and changing requirements.
- Comfort partnering with account, strategy, creative, media, digital, compliance, legal, business, and external vendor teams.
- Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with strong ownership, judgment, attention to detail, and follow-through.
- Experience in financial services, insurance, healthcare, or other regulated industries is a plus.
- Business to consumer and business to business experience preferred.
