Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of all areas including floors, restrooms, offices, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers and scrubbers through three weekly shifts
• Handle chemical agents safely, following all safety protocols and handling procedures to ensure a secure environment
• Maintain sanitation standards by disinfecting surfaces, trash removal, and restocking supplies as needed
• Use custodial tools and cleaning equipment efficiently to complete daily tasks quickly and effectively
• Assist with basic facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or reporting issues requiring professional attention
• Follow safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with health regulations

Experience

• Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial, industrial, or residential settings preferred
• Familiarity with cleaning techniques including floor care, buffing, and sanitation procedures
• Experience handling chemical agents safely and understanding chemical handling safety procedures
• Knowledge of cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, mops, and other custodial tools
• Strong physical ability for manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking
• Customer service skills are a plus, especially when interacting with staff or visitors during cleaning routines
